“ Because I love to cook, the kitchen was a place I wanted to feel both functional and beautiful. A statement range, a butcher block island, and color were all at the top of my wish list. The cabinetry, painted in such a rich hue, makes me smile every day. The open shelving allows me to display the pieces I love most — something I wasn’t sure I’d embrace, but now I can’t imagine living without. ”

This kitchen is a modern interpretation of rustic elegance—where the natural warmth of wood and metal interplay with sleek craftsmanship.

At its heart, the Italian range anchors the space with timeless beauty, serving as both a focal point and a chef’s dream. A backsplash of handcrafted tile ties the palette together, introducing subtle depth and artistry.

With the sink located at the island, our challenge was to safeguard the surrounding wood from water damage. We sourced African Mahogany for its density and natural durability—  to resist fungi. Additional coats of varnish to seal the surface gave an added measure of water resistance and protection

Being an art lover, the client requested more areas to display her collectibles. We replaced the upper cabinetry with open shelving, included glass cabinetry to showcase custom made ceramic vessels, and repurposed the bar seating area with additional shelving allowing both function and form to offer many options for use.

“ This kitchen has become my haven. Beyond cooking, it’s where I spend the most time, whether entertaining or hosting house guests. It has completely transformed how I live in my home.

“This guest bath brings a touch of surprise and delight. The wallpaper itself is beautiful—but the hand-painted metallic embellishment Jori added transformed it into something even more eye-catching! It’s those details — subtle but impactful — that make the space feel truly one-of-a-kind.

Bathed in the same soulful artistry that defines the adjoining stained glass bathroom, the primary bedroom becomes a natural extension of its counterpart—an intimate sanctuary where color, story, and craftsmanship converge.

A palette of warm oaks, rich velvets and aged brass blend together into curvilinear forms and artisanal details that coalesce into vignettes of thoughtful design— anchored by cherished mementos that become daily invitations to greet each day with that same source joy and gratitude.

A plush velvet swivel chair by mid-century icon, Thayer Coggin, is a cozy invitation to slow down and take in the beauty of the garden just beyond the french doors, or soak up a good book.

At its heart, a bespoke velvet headboard stretches gracefully across the wall, seamlessly integrating floating oak nightstands and elegantly concealed dimmers that feel more like jewelry than hardware.

This retreat is more than a bedroom—it is a gallery of celebrated memories, complemented by select vintage accents that infuse another layer of soul and a sense of collected history.
